At Tanholt, we aim to provide a reliable, straightforward and convenient delivery experience. We carefully prepare and package every order to help ensure your leather accessories arrive safely.

1. Delivery Locations

We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom, subject to availability of delivery services.

We do not currently offer international shipping through our website.

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated and displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.

Any free delivery offers or promotional shipping discounts will be clearly displayed where applicable.

Customers can review the total cost of their order, including applicable delivery charges, before confirming payment.

3. Order Processing

We aim to prepare and dispatch orders promptly after payment confirmation.

Orders are processed on working days, excluding weekends and UK bank holidays.

Orders placed during weekends or bank holidays will normally be processed on the next working day.

During particularly busy periods, processing may take longer. Where a significant delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers.

4. Delivery Services

We primarily use Royal Mail for deliveries within the United Kingdom.

Available delivery services, estimated delivery times and applicable charges are provided at checkout.

Delivery estimates begin after dispatch and may vary depending on the delivery destination and selected service.

Please note that estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed.

5. Delivery Timeframes

We aim to deliver orders within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout.

Delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances such as adverse weather, transport disruption or postal service delays.

Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, orders will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is made, in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

If we fail to deliver within the agreed or legally required period, you may have the right to cancel your order and receive a refund.

6. Order Confirmation and Tracking

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation email.

When your order is dispatched, we will send a shipping confirmation where available.

If your selected delivery service includes tracking, tracking details will be provided when available.

Not all Royal Mail services provide full end-to-end tracking.

7. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information during checkout.

If you notice an error in your delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will try to update the address before dispatch, although changes cannot always be guaranteed once an order has entered the delivery process.

If an incorrect address results in a failed delivery or return to sender, we will contact you to discuss the available options.

Reasonable additional delivery charges may apply where legally permitted and where the customer is responsible for the incorrect information.

8. Missed Deliveries

If Royal Mail is unable to deliver your parcel, it may leave delivery instructions, arrange another attempt or make the parcel available for collection, depending on the service used.

Please follow the instructions provided by Royal Mail.

If your parcel is returned to us following unsuccessful delivery attempts, contact us to discuss redelivery or cancellation options.

Any additional charges will be explained before redelivery is arranged.

9. Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us so we can investigate.

Where necessary, we will contact Royal Mail to investigate a missing or delayed parcel.

If your parcel arrives damaged, please notify us and provide relevant details or photographs where reasonably possible.

Under UK consumer law, we generally remain responsible for the goods until they are received by you or a person you have nominated, except where the law provides otherwise.

Where goods are lost or damaged before responsibility passes to you, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.

10. Delivery Delays

Although we work to dispatch orders promptly, occasional delivery delays may occur.

If we become aware of a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you.

If delivery cannot be completed within the agreed timeframe, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.

11. Returns and Refunds

If you wish to return an item, please refer to our separate Refund and Returns Policy.

For eligible online purchases, customers generally have 14 days after receiving their goods to notify us of cancellation.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly described products are covered by separate statutory consumer rights.
